ServCycle Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
Welcome to ServCycle! By enrolling in our home maintenance subscription or requesting on-demand handyman services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms outline your rights, responsibilities, and what you can expect from us.
2. Services Provided
ServCycle LLC offers:
Quarterly Home Maintenance Plans: Customized to your property’s needs, including seasonal upkeep, preventative maintenance, and client-requested tasks all built into a quarterly plan.
Handyman Services: Available for general home repairs and to-do list items. These can be scheduled as standalone visits or added to any quarterly maintenance visit (subject to availability) at a rate of $100 per hour. Minimum of a 2 hour visit for standalone visits.
3. Custom Plan & Visit Scheduling
We create a custom maintenance plan during your free in-home consultation.
Visits are scheduled quarterly (4 per year) and coordinated directly with the client.
4. Payment Terms
Clients may choose from:
Annual Prepaid Plan: Price determined during consultation (includes 4 visits + 10% discount). Annual Prepaid Plan total will be billed upon completion of the first visit to the payment method on file.
Quarterly Payment Plan: Price determined during consultation and billed immediately to the payment method on file after the completion of each visit.
All payments are processed securely via credit card or ACH through Jobber. If opting to pay with a credit card, a 3% processing fee will be added to the total cost of each transaction.
Additional hours or material costs are billed separately following each visit and charged to the payment method on file after the completion of each visit.
A payment method must be on file in the Client Hub through Jobber prior to our first visit.
5. Materials & Additional Costs
Materials required for repairs or maintenance are billed separately with a 10% sourcing fee.
Clients may supply their own materials, provided they are available onsite prior to the scheduled visit.
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Visits may be rescheduled with 24 hours’ notice. Missed or same-day cancellations may incur a rescheduling fee of up to $150.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. For prepaid annual plans, refunds will be prorated based on the number of unused quarterly visits. The refund is calculated using the quarterly rate (without the annual discount) as follows:
Refund = ((Annual Plan Total × 1.1) ÷ 4) × Number of Unused Visits − $50 Administrative Fee.
7. Scope of Services
ServCycle provides general home maintenance and handyman services. We do not perform:
Work requiring a licensed contractor (e.g. major plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, structural)
Emergency services
Large-scale remodeling or renovations
A full list of services and exclusions is available on our website or by request.
8. Client Responsibilities
Provide safe and accessible working conditions for our team.
Inform us in advance of any access issues (e.g. gates, pets, alarms).
9. Liability & Insurance
ServCycle maintains general liability insurance and follows standard safety protocols.
We are not liable for pre-existing damage, hidden conditions, or issues outside of the service scope.
Proof of insurance is available upon request.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will first be resolved through informal negotiations. If unresolved, they will be settled by binding arbitration in the State of Minnesota. Each party is responsible for their own legal costs.
11. Service Limitations & Disclaimer
ServCycle provides routine home maintenance and handyman services designed to reduce the risk of damage and extend the lifespan of your home’s systems and features. However, by enrolling in our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
ServCycle is not liable for any property damage, system failure, or safety issue that may arise before, during, or after the course of our maintenance services. While we strive to identify and address potential issues through preventative care, we do not guarantee that our services will prevent all breakdowns, malfunctions, or accidents.
ServCycle is not a licensed contractor, plumber, electrician, or HVAC specialist, and we do not perform services requiring licensed trades unless performed through a licensed partner. Our scope of service is limited to non-specialized home maintenance and handyman tasks.
All information and recommendations provided by ServCycle are for general maintenance purposes only and do not constitute professional engineering, structural, or safety advice.
By using this website or enrolling in our services, you accept the following terms:
ServCycle and its team members are not responsible for incidental, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from any issue that arises during or after the delivery of services.
ServCycle disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Services are provided “as is” and based on the information available at the time of service.
12. Modifications to Terms
ServCycle reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of changes in advance.
